3D Papercraft: Ice Cream Truck

Hi Stampers!

It has been sooo hot the last couple of days that I decided to stay in my studio and play!

I decided to use my 3D UPS Tuck pattern and see what I can come up.

Isn't this amazing!

If you flip this over to the other side, the awning comes up and the table comes out as if some is serving the ice cream.

Here is a sneak peek.

The UPS Truck pattern is available here.

Totally "Me" Tote

Hi Stampers,

I am so awed by this tote. I had a hard time finding a right name for this stinking cute bag, and when I was looking in the 2015-2016 catalogue, I saw this stamp set called "In This Together" and it was perfect for my 3D bag.

My newest 3D Papercrafting creation, and I am calling this Totally "Me" Tote. Technically, I am not a purse kind of person but I know a lot of ladies who has a collection of purses. For me, papercraft will just have to do to hold all my cards, and what a great way to present this 3D for those who loves shopping and PURSES.

I used the Cherry on Top designer series paper for the latch, bow and coordinating sides. I love how it all came together.

Murse Pattern: Card 3

Hi Stampers!

Here is card 3 for the Murse pattern:

This card is a little more technical.

  1. Cut (1x) piece of 11" x 4-1/4" pacific point cardstock, and score at 5-1/2".
  2. Cut (1x) piece of 3-7/8" x 4" basic black cardstock. At the bottom I cut the zig zag style. To get the same angles of the whisper white, cut the same size as the basic black and then align the whisper white and cut the angles. Once that is done, then trim 1/8" off the 3 straight sides. I embossed this with the Boho Chic Embossing folder, and then adhere it to the basic black and then to the base card.
  3. Cut (1x) piece of 2-1/2" x 4" basic black cardstock, and adhere to the base card.
  4. Here is the technical part. Cut (1x) piece of 2-3/8" x 3-7/8" watercolor cardstock. I aligned the stamps in a row and stamped it with versamark ink and then heat set with the white embossing powder. I then applied inks using the aquapainter starting at the top with Watermelon Wonders, mixing in with the Daffodil Delight ink, and lastly the Mint Macaron ink ensuring they are all blended well.
  5. I used the You've Got This stamp set (the scuffed image stamp) and stamped in Daffodil Delight, stamping it off once, and then onto the focal point and adhere to the basic black cardstock.
  6. Cut (1x) 1" x 2-3/4" of watercolor paper, and stamp the diamond with versamark and heat set it with black embossing powder. To get the background color, I watered the watercolor panel and then brought in the watermelon wonders and the daffodil delight, letting the colors spread on its own.
  7. Colored the main focal point with pacific point and daffodil delight, and added crystal effect on the outside diamond. I let that set aside to dry, and continued on with the other two diamonds.
  8. Trimmed and added dimensional to the back.

Murse Pattern: Card 2

Hi Stampers!

Here is Card 2 incorporating with the Murse Pattern (Man-Purse).

How this was created:

  1. Cut (1x) piece of blackberry bliss cardstock at 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" and score at 4-1/4".
  2. Cut (1x) piece of 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Bohemian Designer Series Paper and adhere the piece to the base card.
  3. (1x) piece of 2" x 5-1/2" Daffodil Delight cardstock and punch the bottom with the triple banner punch.
  4. I used the Bohemian borders to create my own background. I stacked the various stamps onto an acrylic block and stamped twice using the versamark ink and then heat set the white embossing powder. Once that is set then I stamped the chevron stamp in between the given space with versamark and then heat set the black embossing powder and then adhere the daffodil delight banner piece to the base card.
  5. Cut (1x) 3-1/2" x 3/4" basic black cardstock and punch the ends with the triple banner punch. Adhere to the base card.
  6. I then stamped the It's For You from the Amazing Birthday stamp set with versamark, and heat set the white embossing powder, and then punch the sentiment with 1-1/4" circle punch.
  7. I cut the Butterflies using the Butterflies Thinlits Dies and then added Rhinestone Jewels.
And that is it!

Murse Pattern: Card 1

Hi Stampers!

What an excitement yesterday! The Creative Circle Designer Team blog hop was so much fun and I can't wait to share with you for the next month.

In the next couple of posts, I will reveal my cards and how I incorporated them with the Murse Pattern (Man-Purse).

The first card started off with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" with delightful dijon cardstock, scored at 4-1/4". I rounded the right top and bottom corners with a corner punch and them embossed it with our beautiful Boho Chic Embossing Folder.

The large flag piece was cut at 1-1/2" x 5-1/4" and I punched the bottom with using the triple border punch and adhere to the base card.

Next, I cut another designer series paper at 1/2" x 4-1/4" and I used the triple border punch again. (TIP: turn your punch upside down so that you can view the centre point) and adhere it to the base card offsetting it slightly to the right.

The focal point, I cut a 1" x 2-1/4" of whisper white cardstock, then I stamped the diamond with versamark ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder. Once that was set, I repeated the process by aligning the second diamond on the bottom of the other stamped image and heat embossed with black embossing powder and then trimmed the excess off, and adhere to a remnant basic black cardstock at 1" x 2-1/4". I then used dimensional to pop up the image.

I then used pacific point and daffodil delight markers to color the focal point.

Creative Circle - 3D Murse Blog Hop

I am soooo delighted to share the Creative Circle Artisan’s blog hop with you! If you have arrived from my new talented friend Fran Sabad you are already on the blog hop and already know what is happening. If this is your first stop then HELLO and WELCOME!

My design team is taking a couple of notches up for me. Each of them is taking the 3D Papercraft Pattern, (BTW the 3D Murse (Man-Purse) pattern it is FREE for you to download this month) and showing you how they incorporated the Pattern by using one stamp set and designer series papers/cardstocks for various usage.

For my 3D Murse, I used the Bohemian Designer Series Paper to decorate the purse, and then brought in the designer papers and coordinating cardstocks to create 3x beautiful manly cards. I also used the Bohemian Borders as part of my focal points. I love the boldness of this stamp set!

I will explain in details later how the cards were created, but in the meantime, thank you so much for joining me. Hope you enjoyed today's project – now off you go to see what Sandy created.

It's Time to Celebrate!

Hi Stampers,

I'm bringing you another sampler card using In This Together stamp set. This time I used the It's Time to Celebrate! girl.

The dress is stamped on designer papers and then cut and paste onto the stamped image. The flower on her hip, I used the large rhinestone jewels, and then color it in with our retired blendabilities.

If you have not got your Triple Banner Punch, I highly recommend it. Makes a perfect banner. Again, bringing in my Silver Metal Buttons as my accent pieces.

CTS #129

Hi Stampers,

I decided to play along with this sketch, and use the new toys I have on hand.

I took this CAS(E) this sketch! and used the Bold Butterfly and the Butterflies Thinlits.

I stacked the butterfly on top of the basic black and decided not to adhere it down and just let it fluttered. I also cut the small detailed butterfly with the basic black card stock.

The side strip is from the Cherry on Top designer series paper, and I just cut to the width of the designer paper.

The "thanks" was cut out twice and stacked, and then topped it off with the crystal effect.
